Thanks to you all @mo53 - @Diamum5972 - @ickihun - @KevinPotts - I can't go down to A & E because I didn't have a Shower this morning, had to settle for a "strip wash"! Will have to hobble into the garden and get the hosepipe on me. Not eaten solids so far today (feeling nauseous/dizzy) drinking coffees, Lattes (2) and water, and having spoons of Greek Yoghurt - bought a big 1kg Tub yesterday. = yummy:)

You and your strip wash reminds me of the sketch with Paddy McGuiness and Peter Kay on the road trip in their Winnebago when Peter shouts at Paddy "I'll have you know I have a good stand up wash at least once a week:)

Hope that you are sleeping now @liam1955
Well, it's really raining here in Central Scotland, proper heavy rain - the gardens are delighted. Have a good day everyone

Thank You @13lizanne - I've nodded off and on (little cat naps). Good Morning to everyone and hope you are all well. Unsettled here in York - rained throughout the night /morning, but so much fresher/cooler, could well have more rain through out the day.Thank You @Galja for the advice about the pillow:).

Morning all, it's a bit cloudy at the moment with more rain showers for the rest of the day. Hope you got some more rest @liam1955, sending you hugs xx

@liam1955 is your knee still swollen, this morning?
If still painful go and get it checked out. Please.

I'm out today without internet. Family time. I'll be on til 11am, then after 6pm.

Let me know how knee is coping with the trauma. ♡♥♡

Hi William, Only just seen your post about your knee, hope the pain is easing. :)

Good morning to you all, Been raining in the night on and off here in Lancashire, brighter now but rain forecasted on and off all day. Banging my head with my shoulder and arm yet, always starts off at night, wondering if a new matress or bed will help. Physio doesn't seem to be working. :)

Good morning to you all, It's dull and damp here. Busy at home today and visiting my elderly dad X

@amgrundy - Good Morning Arlene. How old is your mattress? I have heard it been said that you are supposed to replace a mattress every 10 years, as to this being correct? = what does others have to say?
@ickihun - Vicky I had to make do with a strip wash yesterday because I could not stand safely in the shower, I am going to have a nice warm soak in the Bath this morning to feel clean and respectable! My Arthritis in my lower spine is playing up today, so the pain in my knee is not troublesome, however it is still swollen, but no redness or any bruising has come out. So, in my medical opinion I think it is Bursitis? (Housemaids Knee better known as) And since I got diagnosed with Diabetes (16 years ago) I have become a 'Medical Nightmare'!!!!:D

Hi William, glad your knee is on the mend, sorry about your arthritis, I get it in my lower back too, painful. My mattress is 10yrs old so may just get a new one bed as well. Hubby in other room will go and tell him to get his hands in his pockets :eek::eek::eek:

Good morning everyone William - you have my sympathy with the knee. Mine has been giving me grief in this hot weather. Get in that bath and have a good soak. Shower for me as i am off out soon to play in my band at a street party. Have a restful Sunday everyone.

@amgrundy - Arlene, have you thought about using heat pads on your shoulder? I use them all the time for the Arthritic pain in my Sacral Area I find the heat brings out the pain. I buy them from Home Bargain Store or even Poundland (99p) you get 2 pads that last up to 8 hours each. William x:) For anybody reading this the pads can be used for all kind of conditions and they are self-adhesive to stick to clothing as they are NOT to be placed against your skin.:)
