Ref Sameer posts and being able to read....

On my iphone, sometimes (like tonight) I can only view Sameers original posting and a few ithers going back to April 8th... A lot of people are still answering Sameers original posts ref giving up insulin.....

With Sameer things have I hope now moved on, from his original posting.... And the other 10 pages....

Sameer is now tryig to comply with taking his insulin...

However.... It is frustrating when you have been following Sameer and due to either iphone or forum you can only read the original posting on the first page..... And cant read any others!! And then you can see other forum members obviously trying to help, but are still responding to Sameers OP....

He has many barriers, lives in Pakistan, has to pay to visit the doctors and is scared to death. I intially got fed up with him, but then came around to thinking, what else can he do. His anger has gone and he is now polite instead of frustrated. Our combined efforts, adns Sammers has seen him come such a long way and this help is free and valuable. I have backberry and can read every page. I don't like i-phones anyway.

There's a # sign at the bottom left of each page that let's you jump to other pages.

I think I was a little harsh on Sameer too a while back ! I've got a bit of a soft spot for him now ! I think maybe we take our treatment here for granted. Must be tough for him ! Mind you, I sometimes want to shake him lol !

You guys are my family now ..... I take all of you very seriously .....but sometimes i dont know what to do .... Its not easy like me to coope with daibetes here .... Financially too . I am ready to pay to doc , when u dont get responce what else u do ..... All these insulin and strips to check are expensive already guys .
But i will go theough it

I also came round to liking you and also felt like shaking you, lol. At fist, you were keeping thinhs to yourself, even that you were in Pakistan and that made things harder to help you. It all came out in the end and we all think you're a good 'un!

Please don't stop taking it I was stupid enough to do this and I was a clever thing to do I ended up collapsing and was in a serious way!!! And think of your family and friends it wasn't nice to them to see me like that !!! It's very selfish

Sameer,
Please do not stop your insulin no matter how unwell you feel. You will feel far worse without insulin and an urgent appointment to see your GP, specialist diabetic nurse or Diabetic Specialist is a must in the very, very near future. Your body must have insulin and perhaps the dosage needs to be checked, the insulin being used changed to something else, but without insulin you can collapse and never come back again, so please, please do not stop taking the insulin. Diabetes is with you forever, so one way or another you have to come to terms with this and get to the point when you live your life and your diabetes is just part of that. Please go and see your specialist as soon as possible.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT STOP YOUR INSULIN under any circumstances, you will end up in hospital, you will be really poorly with dehydration, keytones just to mention a couple of things and you could go into a diabetic coma. Adjusting your insulin is much safer and if you are not sure about how to do this post it on here and many people will be able to help / advise you.

Guys, rewind a week or so, please and review Sammy's comments. Sameer, how was the doctors, son? Hope you received better advice than last time! Keep up your hard work, mate. We're proud of you. DO NOT BE AFRAID! For those offended by this post, I apologise in advance! Sameer, you've been great considering your hectic start!!! Stay healthy, bud! You are inspiring others in the same position as you!

Sorry guys ........ I was not feeling good at all so i was sick , going hypo and hypo again and again ......
Doctor took my test ...... He was shocked to see my readings they were normal
He also said the doses u taking are completely useless according to body wweight .......
He told me you are depressed and etc ........

He told me u can go and see some other doctor !!!!

I told u i dont beleive these doctors here !!!!

Sorry guys i am stopping again now lets see my honey moon period what will happen !!!

Sameer am I reading that correctly, you are stopping your insulin again? You were doing do well for a while there, why are you going backwards now?

I'm in the honeymoon period too but I've not stopped my insulin, I've reduced drastically but not stopped as I would become ill quickly if I stopped!

Don't be foolish! Take your insulin. If you don't you will be ill.

This my last piece of advice unless you take medical advice!

I don't want you to read "Sameer died because he couldn't be bothered".

Don't give up.

I dont think the random will go higher than 250 is that too much 230 is allowed !!!
If it goes higher than 250 i will start lets see !!!

Sameer, I've reduced my own insulin over the last week because of hypos I've been a bit more active as it's warmer now . I wouldn't have dreamed of stopping it completely.
Hale is like you and has cut down on the amount he uses. You will feel much better if you don't have too high or low glucose levels.

Is there not another doctor you can see?
