Hanadr - RIP

I only really knew of Hana from the words of others, but very sad news and my thoughts are with her family.

What sad news, Hana was a mine of info & advice when I first joined the forum. She will be missed

From Hana's daughter, Joanna as she saw these tributes:

Thank you so much for sharing this with me. My mum really was an amazing lady. I cannot get over how many lives she touched. Xx

I'm very sad to hear this.

Hana was a great and influential figure here. I was always impressed by her firm but impeccably polite reasoning and her faith in science and common sense.

My most sincere condolences go to her family; she touched many here and really did make a difference to people's diabetes and their lives.

Best

I'm really sad to hear this. I too met Hana, when we both worked on the National Diabetes Audit. I heard she had cancer last year. A great influence on here and a passionate supporter of low carbing; certainly she helped improved many peoples' diabetes.

She is missed - I had the occasional phone conversation, & met her on several occasions
