With cgms you can often tell in advance that you are going to need some glucose otherwise you are going to go low.
What are some healthy snacks you can take to avoid this?
This may be slightly different from treating actual lows which you want to act as soon as possible, but I'm OK with something that may take 15 or 30 minutes to work.
Bonus points if the snack is portable, i.e. can be carried in a trouser pocket, and also can be split.
Orange juice seems to work for me, but isn't easily portable.
A mandarin can fit in a pocket, but can't really be split and put back.
I'm trying to reduce the number of jelly babies and glucose tablets that I am taking.
Any suggestions?
