Not sure if this is the right forum or not - I think it is as it is to do with low carb.
I'm trying to shift us as a family towards low carb - husband also type 2 and we are both overweight. 3 young people living at home - no weight issues but good time to learn healthy eating.
I am also wanting to shift more towards vegetarian/vegan lifestyle (shame as I love meat - but it is making me feel unwell at the moment, so I might just keep it as a special treat occasionally!).
I did a good lunch - omelette and I didn't have bread or potatoes to go with it.
By about 4pm I had that huge hole in the tummy empty feeling and had nothing with which to fill it other than carb laden food! I need to work out some handy low carb snacks that will just fill the breach between lunch and supper.
Any ideas please (cheap and easy to do being a key factor!)
