Here comes Summer let's stay active.

I can't give up now lol
 
Hello. I'm not doing well this week. Yesterday exercise was a morning with my 2 year old grandson and an afternoon of gardening but today was knitting and shopping so not so good.
 
Today I ran up and down the stairs three times every hour on the hour.
Got my heart racing each time (I'm 72) and the muscles in my legs ache like fury.

Hiya you were shopping , your body was moving so well done you for being active , be more fun with your grandson though lol

Running up and down stairs isn't easy , I'm 50 and get knackered doing it lol

I went swimming today. I swam continuously for 50 minutes and achieved equivalent of 40 lengths in a standard pool.

Ha ha. @Clivethedrive . No I made it home first.

Today I walked down the cliff to the spa and walked back up ( I didn't chicken out and take the cliff lift!) then I went swimming and did 35 lengths equivalent of standard pool. I wonder if I'll fall asleep again.

I mowed the lawns this morning and swam equivalent of 30 lengths of standard pool. I think I swam for 40 minutes.

Hi mo,we do seem to be a bit thin on the ground but hey we are ok,i'll try dropping a few hints on other posts
 
Hi people, sorry I haven't been around much , my life has been busy .
Anyway as you know it's turning cold so it's time for a new thread .
Winter Keepy Uppies .....
Basically be as active as you can until the Spring , trick is not to do what I want to do and become a couch potato when it's cold ie keep it up as much as we can .
 
I didn't quite make this summer challenge, but will give it a go.
