Here comes Summer let's stay active.

What a lovely view! I didn't walk much yesterday, my son had a bad experience at the dentist yesterday so we had to get the bus home.

Oh hope your son's ok Diamum5972.
I danced the night away at a wedding .

Lol, he wishes he did live in Scotland - we have cousins in Alloa and he loves going to visit them. His college course is nearly finished, his last day is in 3 weeks! He's looking for an apprenticeship at the moment, if he can't find one before he finishes he's going to have to go on benefits :/

Well done you . It works doesn't it .
I'm 3 years down the line with no meds .
I can now cheat a bit sometimes but mainly lower carbs . I'm ok with about 100gm.

It's soul destroying for them isn't it .
My daughter had major surgery after she finished college and has only managed to work for 4 months , they treat kids like rubbish . Firms get money for taking people off the dole then after 3 months it's bye bye where are the new suckers that we will get money for and get rid of them after 3 months

Absolutely, he's dreading leaving college because he knows he's going to have to work 10 times harder just to keep his head afloat. He's autistic and also suffers from depression and anxiety, god knows what this is going to do to his mental health.

Oh Diamum that must be even harder for him .

I've just been plodding about if I'm honest . The heat here has made me to lazy to go for an official walk . Did keep moving throughout the day though

I visit my mum on Tuesday and today I actually caught the bus up there! I did walk home though because I had to stop in town for some shopping so I still had my half hour walk. I was melting by the time I got back!

I have walked, and kept the red line off the activity tracker quite a bit.
Have been back to the swimming pool for the first time in weeks. Twice. Today will be a massive clean of house day. Should take a few hours, and while the vacuum cleaner is out I will do the car too. Everywhere gets so dusty with all windows open. It is a thankless task.

The very reason I hoover / dust so rarely :)

Meanwhile - after having reached 7.5k steps, I shall shortly go to the gym - aquacise class .... HELP!! I must be daft at this time of night after a hard day's work!

I kept the red line off my activity tracker today. Recorded 5294 steps over target level.
All in the heat of the day. My face is glowing, my feet are sore I have been sitting down for an hour and a half. Red line back on tracker. Tracker can get lost!

As part of rehabilitation from is having two short walks of about 10 to 15 minutes a day with naps in between this afternoon took a short walk on the Teversal trail enjoyed it but with the heat was very wobbly and felt quite weak at the end thought I was going to take a tumble but made it back to the visitor centre to find they where shutting up shop.:(

But as it's only about a mile from home at least had a drink in a short time then took a nap. Small steps but getting there.:)

Quite pleased with my activity yesterday - went into town twice. First time was to pay bills and get food shopping, second time was with my son cos he got paid yesterday. He's autistic and also suffers from depression and anxiety so he doesn't like going into town by himself

Well done @JohnEGreen
Determination will get you there.
It doesn't feel like it at the start, I know. But gradually you start to notice the improvement.
