I'm sure the DN will come up with some other alternatives should you need it, sounds like the low carb evening meal helped a lotIt's the first time they've been in single figures in 5 days. So I think the low carb is helping, and hopefully when the antibiotics kick in it'll improve more. I definitely want to speak to DN again to though as I just don't think the sitagliptin they have me on now is enough to manage this. I can't take Metformin but surely there's something else I can try.

imo is a good signbut ix that a good sign to that they have dropped to that level? I just don't know. I've eaten dinner now and feel a bit better, definitely need to speak to my DN I think.
I'm sorry to hear you're still struggling.Hi again everyone, I'm still experiencing high blood sugar levels, today I've had scrambled eggs with bacon and a slice of wholemeal toast for breakfast and blood sugar after 2 hours was 13.6
'fraid I chuckled. I can be wicked at times.Thank you for your reply, I just tested again at 7pm, hadn't had anything else to eat since the bacon and eggs earlier (was talking to a friend on the phone for ages!), and realised I was feeling light headed. So I didn't eat for over 6 hours, reading was 7.5, big difference. So it would seem starvation is the solution.... Obviously I'm joking but ix that a good sign to that they have dropped to that level? I just don't know. I've eaten dinner now and feel a bit better, definitely need to speak to my DN I think.
