What I would like to ask is how late do you eat myself I have my Dinner at 6 pm but sometimes if there is something good on TV I love to munch something it maybe 2 squares of 85% dark Chocolate or sometime I maybe naughty and have a biscuit not always don't like bikkies much So do you have a down fall and how late do you eat Thought this thread maybe good for us all to see what each of us do

I always try to eat earlier but don't often succeed; I am eating as I type this. I usually try and have eaten by 8.30pm but this evening a friend with a sick foal rang as she didn't understand the results from the equine hospital and what was going on so I had to spend quite a while going through the lab results she had emailed me and then ring her back to explain things which made me late doing my horses so only just got in.

I know it would be better to eat earlier and I do try but 8.00pm is about the earliest I ever manage.

7pm at the latest, if I'm eating out it can be later.

I usually eat around 7:30/8pm but would like to eat earlier too! I too like a square of 85% choc or some salted peanuts!

6pm is last time of any food for me unless out with friends.
Think I was just brought up that my dad cooke dinner for 5pm and we never ate afterwards. So 50+ years of being like this. Do have a glass of wine after this time at weekends though!! (Wasn't brought up like that!)

Depends where you live in this world though too as my step sister never eats her main meal before 9pm as she lives in Madrid...

Usually around 6 to 6.30
One thing I have noticed since trying lchf, I have only had indigestion once,

Never before 7pm, most often 7-30pm. And that is it, only water or wine after that. I don't snack (never have done) and don't nibble or have supper. Next food is breakfast about 9am.

About 7pm I have never snacked, and dont need supper.
Have breakfast as soon as I get up between 7.30 and 9am..

Yoghurt,(full fat), 85% chocolate and a couple of strawberries around 9ish, helps me overnight. That's my treat for myself for being a good boy low carbing and be fitter and healthier.

I'm wondering if having dinner later decreases DP next morning as the fasting period isn't so long?
If you sleep well and go through the four stages of sleep, your body can heal a little and you feel better. Sleep disruption is a major symptom of a lot diabetic complications. Hypos during the night signify that the body isn't being controlled well. I had really bad sleep disruption and sleeping tablets didn't help.
What changed for for me is having very low carbs for evening meal or any treats before bed and I still have to go the bathroom at least twice during the night.
And no, I don't have a problem with my prostrate or bladder. It's the extra insulin I create!

I've also had all the tests for sleep apnia etc.

Given my work hours are 6.30am to 6pm, and I go to the gym post work, I'm not normally home till 8.30pm. I also eat about 5 meals a day so stopping eating at 5 would cram that into a really short period!

I usually eat around 6pm but if I stay up late I end up snacking before bed, which isn't good if you're trying to lose weight.

I don't have tea as I work 4pm til 8pm but if I have a night off I have my tea around 5.30pm - 6pm. I can't really eat later than this.

Nice to see what we all do I think me coming from Birmingham still think we need supper but that is my 2 squares of 85% choc etc if i need it
