how long does novorapid last in your system meaning how long many hours does it lower your sugar after a meal
 
About 5 hours. But really anything from 2-6 hours depending on the individual and what they are up to.

It can vary but is roughly 5 hours.

Is there any reason why you're asking?
 
Mine peaks at one hour and is gone by two but i take very small doses and ear vlc. It's different for everyone and many different variables.
 
Experience with using various loops suggests that most people dramatically under-estimate their real insulin duration. Many of us estimate that it's all gone after roughly 3.5 hours, but the tail does seem to last 4-5 hours in most people. It might not be having a huge effect on glucose levels but it's still there...
 
5 - 6 hours for me.

Years ago I thought it was about 3.5 hours but definitely not...

My pump and meter now on MDI again are far better with dosing and corrections and levels with my acting time set to 5 hours..
