No idea how many I eat but probably more than some here because a couple of times a week. I do have a small slice of wholemeal bread and some very small new potatoes. I was never a big starchy carb eater before diabetes very low sweet tooth never ate rice or pasta didn't like it moderate bread and potatoes and I did not eat red meat so my diet has not changed very muchDoing more surveys...
So, how many carbs on average do you have each day? I think the RDA for those without diabetes is around 260g?
And if you went over YOUR limit would you start feel differently, side-effects, symptoms etc?
20!? Honestly? I mean, do you only eat once a day?
So your diabetes isn't that bad then if you can tolerate what is classed as an (almost) average carb intake for a non-diabetic?Hi @winglets
About 200 - 240. I don't really have a limit, i just match carbs to insulin. Yes i feel differently if my bs rises and would take more insulin.
160/180g daily.
200g daily if I'm training with heavy weights. ( I only do this maybe twice a year for 6/8 weeks at a time )

20 or under and that’s from the cream in my coffee.
