I am 49 and was diagnosed on the 14th February 2013 asT1 - what a way to celebrate Valentines Day.

This is an awesome thread because those who have had it for some time give us newbies some hope and realisation that it can be controlled and that it doesn't have to rule our lives.

39 yrs and 4 months ago aged 12. Does anyone remember Carbohydrate Countdown the bible of working out your Carbs I still had mine up till a couple of years ago until the Nurse gave me Carbs and Cals and I downloaded app on phone.
