apart from the testing, injecting and watching what I eat I can convince myself I don't have diabetes other days I want to give up completely, but when I read here how long lots of people have had it and managed it successfully it gives me hope xx

It was 1971 when I was 16! So 43 years ago
I was given an eating plan which stated the amount of carbs I could eat at each meal and it worked well. It all when wrong in the 90's when the rules changed and we were all told we could eat what we liked and inject to cover it!!
