Thank you grant. That's very helpful. I wish you well.Hello,
As far as I'm aware this wouldn't be connected to diabetes as the resultant effect of the condition (regardless of type) would be the opposite of what you're experiencing. Diabetics tend to suffer with hyperglycaemia which is high blood sugar readings. Hypoglycaemia tends to only occur in a diabetic when too much of their prescribed medication is taken; injected insulin for example.
Have you made any changes to your diet, i.e. less carbs, more exercise, skipping breakfast or other meals?
You should also consult your Dr about this. Seeking forum advice is a great additional source of information but should never be the primary one.
Cheers,
Grant
Thank you for your advice. Appreciate it. Paul.Hi @Fast_act
Have you ever checked your blood sugar when you have these hypoglycaemic spells? How exactly do you feel when you have them, and is there any pattern to them at all?
I second the advice to see a doctor if you have any concerns for your health at all. It's always good to get a check-over and, if nothing else, it might provide some reassurance.
Hi, thank you for contacting me. I think I'll make an appointment with my gp. I've had symptoms of hypo for years and years. I thought it was just down to side effects of the mess I take every day. I have, at times, excessive hunger, feeling sick after eating, aa kind of chemical taste when I get up in the morning, dizzy and often week and tired.
Yes, I do, though I would believe that he may only help as far as his knowledge would go.Hi, thank you for contacting me. I think I'll make an appointment with my gp. Do you recommend making an appointment with my gp ? Thank you for your time.

Hello. Thank you for your time. I made a spelling error. I meant to say meds and not mess ! Silly me. I will go to my go and hope he'll say something to make things clearer for me. I'll check out the forum you mentioned. Thanks again. PaulYes, I do, though I would believe that he may only help as far as his knowledge would go.
Have you a blood glucose monitor?
You talk about mess, what exactly is that?
Is it the meds you are on?
You do have symptoms of something, but it could be a lot of conditions.
And it could be a form of Hypoglycaemia.
One last question for now, when you get those symptoms, what usually have you ate?
We have a forum on reactive hypoglycaemia, you can click on forums, scroll down and click on reactive hypoglycaemia, you may find something.
Regards.
Thanks for ur reply. I hav made an appointment with my gp next week so hopefully I'll get sorted out. I appreciate your time. Take care. Cheers paul
