I sorry I don't know the answer, but can you tell us the name of the insulin you use as other may have some advice.

Are you in the UK, you could call 111 for advice, again you will need to provide details of the medication and dosage

I thought that if you take too much insulin then you'll have a Hypo so you need to test and keep testing and prepare to eat something sweet.
I'm a non medicator so I'm not sure.
I've reported your post to the mods so that they can help out in others don't come it quickly.

Hi,

Can you tell me the type of insulin you have injected?

Hi

keep testing your blood glucose every few minutes, and if your readings fall below 4, then eat some quick acting carbs.
when did you inject? (what time?)
and what have you eaten?(and what time?)

i don't use insulin myself, but the answers to these questions will help experienced insulin users give you advice.

and I will tag in a few people who may be able to help.

It depends what type of insulin you are on....

Please can you let us know?

If you dose extra 14 of insulin did you also do the other 14 of Victoza?

We dont know if the insulin is quick acting that you are having with meals-in which case it should be out of your system in 6 hours but you need to test every 30 minutes and eat/drink sugary foof if you start to drop quickly..have something long lasting carb now though...

If its a basal insulin the drop will be slower and longer and you need to eat more longer lasting food....
