For example I've not been officially diagnosed but with my own meter I can already see that my numbers aren't normal and through genetic testing I've got several markers for diabetes (loads).
So to begin with what you've talked about as a remedy, is probably the best prevention, less carb/starch heavy and more fresh fruit and vegetables as well as meat of course.
It's probably the diet I will need to follow for the rest of my life and it looks like I have an issue with gluten too, RIP brownie and pizza binges!
