I am on Bydurian now, nursey gave me a couple of injections (once weekly and a lot less fuss) I am still on Metformin, but have been able to cut down on the Glyclicide), which is good 'cos I never remebered the second one  ) I did my fist lone injection this morning and to my horror I drew blood!!!!!!!!!!! When nursey did it, she never drew blood, I went into the right place, but may have gone a little deep, perhaps? Also, when she did it it stung for a short time afterward but it didn't sting this morning.................. I'm going to see her next week, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone has tried it, and how they are getting on with it. :?

I tried Bydureon for a couple of weeks but had to stop it because there is a risk of re-occuring a previous pancreatitus episode. I was really dissapointed to come off it as the once a week injection was appealing.

I wouldn't worry about drawing a little blood as it happens to me with insulin.

Good luck and hope it works for you :)
