I am terribly overweight and about 3 years ago, I lost part of my left foot to diabetes.

I am a type 2 diabetic diagnosed in June of 2000 who ended up losing part of my left foot in 2009 because of diabetes. I am looking for new friends and learning more about diabetes.

Nope and don't plan on having any either. I did have my ear pierced when i was a kid but it has long sealed up!

I have a huge diverse music list...from trance to indie but if i had to list a favourite then one band that i'd go crazy at a concert with would be Coldplay and 30 seconds to mars!

Favourite i guess would have to sit within pop even though i'd go from rock to classic.

Hi Before I begin I must say that I’m rubbish at explaining things!!!

I’m actually an oldie as I joined some years ago but I’m quite shy, so tend to keep a low profile.
I’m 56 and work part time as a domestic on a delivery suite. I was diagnosed with type 2 11 years ago but it was no great surprise as it’s been in my family for 3 generations (that I know of). Despite it being familial I’ve spent the last 11years struggling and denying my diabetes. My last Hba1C was 12.2 and the ends of my toes and fingers are slightly numb
