Welcome to the forum. I know how you feel. Much of what I learned was gleaned from the knowledge of long term diabetics. They gave freely of their time, and I appreciate it.

How do you deal with diabetes....? One step at a time! Being here is the first big step. Over time, you learn from experience. Ask questions, keep up to date with treatments. It all helps.

Welcome to the forum. Always remember, as bad as it is for you, there are others less fortunate. I wish fervently for you to get off meds. I know what it is like. Nearly 12 years on insulin would drive you bananas! Take good care of yourself and good luck. Bring us some good news!

No idea! I love almost anything although some more recent stuff leaves me cold. Blues and anything that has evolved from it is cool. Jazz is magic, Prog Rock, metal, pop and even classical fits in the favourites slot. Reggae/SKA is up there somewhere too. Bob Dylan & Bob Marley are both equally high up in my favourites listing. Lost count of the number of CDs lying around the gaff!

The Last King Kingdom & Taboo have been recent favourite mini series, although TV makes me sleepy so I tend to listen more to the radio. Costume dramas would always be a favourite providing they are factually realistic.

Hi All. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 34 years and have just emigrated from Zimbabwe to Milton Keynes in the UK. I have had 3 great years of diabetes management using LCHF so am looking for a LCHF friendly doctor in the MK area. If anyone knows of 1, please let me know. Thanks Bryan
