Please excuse me for my lack of knowledge on this subject, in fact what I'm posting here may well indeed be incorrect.

Ok, we have the Omnipod

http://www.diabetes.co.uk/diabetic-prod ... -pump.html

A pump which is tube free, WoW how good is that ??

Secondly, we have the G4 CGM

http://www.diabetes.co.uk/cgm/dexcom-g4-cgm.html

A continuous glucose monitor, again WoW how good is that ?? No more blood testing !!!!

Assuming I have both products I'm going to need some large pockets to buy & fit all the gadgets on me.

Is there a product on the market that does both ???

There are integrated systems but they are tubed pumps

The hospital I attend has a couple of Medtronic ones which patients can use for a couple of weeks at a time. I've found it really useful for finding out what's going on at night, during exercise and for getting basal rates correct. I felt I wouldn't want or need to wear both cannula and sensor everyday, I'm fine with the pump but the sensor on top just seems uncomfortable and to be too much. ( I might feel differently if my glucose levels were more volatile )
Continuous monitoring doesn't remove the necessity to do fingerprick testing since you have to calibrate the monitor up to 3-4 times a day.
