@Gezza...you seemed to have a lot to say about the blog and in a light hearted way i said why not come on over and debate there as we don't bite...hardly attacking you was it!

BTW....MASSIVE apologies to the OP...I didn't want to derail but had to defend myself from Sid's vicous attack and lies but will leave it be.

Nah,I can't afford the strips for an 'accu-check' and my PCT only offer cheapo meters and strips...I like the sex pistols but I'm more of a Clash man with the mighty Joe Strummer. :wink:

My Type 2 always appears gone (fasting bs this morning was 5.3) until I get ill with a bad cold or like recently had toothache followed by root canal treatment. My good readings took about 3 weeks to come back down again and I do remain on a low carb/low Gi diet .
