ITV tonight at 19:30, Eat Fat, Stay Fit?

It was very interesting, actually watched a programme where I understood what they were talking about:)

Total waste of time ..I am a vegetarian and it's just left me feeling very sick viewing all the dead fish and dead animals
Edited to add .. This was my own personal opinion.. Every time they spoke about fat they showed a lump of meat ... I know it was only a prog about eating fat .. So in hindsight I should not have watched it .. As it's never going to be relevant to me. Sorry if I have upset anyone with my comment ..only trying to be honest.

We must have watched a different version then ! There wasn't a huge amount of dead fish & animals and there were plenty of other food varieties too in the programme I watched.

At least they recommended this lifestyle and talked about carbs for once.

I eat lots of bits dead animals everyday but I also have a high dairy intake of fat.
In fact dairy and vegetable are probably my main sources of fat.
Vegetarians aren't very popular around these farming areas.
Probably because of their threat to profits and the environment.

For once it was quite a good programme with a very sensible GP and a very silly Heart Foundation person deperately trying to follow national food/diet guidelines quoting the usual nonsense.

That heart foundation woman in majority spouted the same old spiel but at least at the end she mentioned the mediteranean diet....
