in a way i hoped the DN would’ve said yes to a meter.. we get them free up in Scotland.. plus she would’ve shown me how to use it.. a bit reticent to get one due to that reason.. would have to buy one.. strips.. needles.. don’t know how to use it or when i should use it during the day

You can get reasonably cheap meters. The Caresens one is free, you only need to pay for strips and lancets:

This was my thinking when I needed to remove the fat from my liver, I got it down form “The GP is panicking” to “normal levels” within 2 months.

Just out of curiosity, how were you tested? How does one know if one's liver has improved? As far as I know I've never been tested, but my body has a bulletproof radar for things that're bad for me, food items that I went for with great joy before diagnosis. At least I can use that radar to my advantage now.
