I did it , more or less. Cooked all my own meals and kept to 800 calories a day measuring everything that I used. Started with fasting 13.5 mmol/l dropped to <5 by second week. My HBA1C was 67 to start. I dropped 3 1/2 stone and my follow up HBA1C was 40. My cholesterol is healthy, my blood pressure has normalized and my fasting blood sugars are <5.4 every morning. I am always a little disappointed if they are over 5 to be honest. Downside is I now have visible wrinkles which my chubby face hid before ;-)
