It's Saturday and I'm on holiday. I would walk on burning coal for a bucket of chicken.
I know its more than likely out of the question but is anything allowed

I think "wise" is a better word than "allowed". The actual chicken meat is ok but try to leave most of the breadcrumbs and of course no chips.
ETA: Plain fried chicken from a fish and chip shop might be an alternative.

Chinese - crispy duck without sauce or pancakes.. some places have crispy lamb with lettuce wrap.
KFC - if you want to pick off the coating and ditch the fries might be just ok at a pinch..
Chippy - fish ok but again try to peel off the batter...no chips obvs

Depends how low carb your going to be honest.

KFC chicken is like 7 to 9g of carbs per piece. I could get away with eating it, the only reason I wouldn't is becuase I don't want the 20 odd grams of fat as I'm loosing weight

If your on a super low carb high fat program then that may be no good, for me it's no good for the fat content.

Either way unless your very sensitive to carbs you may be ok, fries would be another matter. Again it depend on your sensitivity level, I could get away with a small portion now, but I wouldn't due to weight loss goals.

WIFI, Mobile phones. Smart metres... in fact anything 'smart'
We have to understand and put in to practice what we come to know is good bad or indifferent to us.
Rather than keep on thinking about what we can't have to eat, is it far more helpful to focus on what we can have to eat.

Bread is a no no.
That means no pita bread with my kebabs, No rolls with my burgers, not eating breadcrumb coatings. no toast

No potatoes means, no mash, no chips, no jackets, no roasties,

No rice, no pasta, no wheat, no cereals,

No pizzas Oh! NO!!!!!!!!!
Arggggh!

Whatever will I do? Whatever will I eat?

Remember: We are what we eat.

I have never eaten so well and had such a varied diet since going Low Carb High Fat.

However the best bit of my new understanding about food and my T2 is...

I never feel bloated and sluggish after a meal.
I feel full of energy.
I feel years younger
My Blood Glucose is in 'normal' levels
My mind is less fogged, my memory is improved
My mood swings are a almost a thing of the past
I feel optimistic
I feel in control of life

Do I miss KFC and Mc D? Take a-ways, ready meals and such like.
NOPE!
I am not afraid to have any of the above, will I have have any of the above again?
Hell Y E S.

Once in blue moon...

I'm off to look at my ephemeris (look it up) ;)
