lancets

i have recently been diagnosed with type 2 and i am having trouble drawing enough blood for the test, the lancets i use just do not seem to go deep enough and i have resorted to using the lancet on its own so i could penetrate deeper to get more blood but i would prefer using the lancet applicator , can i get bigger lancets for deeper tests?

If you can't get enough blood I find putting my hands in warm water for 5 secs mayb more, draws the blood to the finger tips. Hope this help x

Have you turned up the level on the stabby pen. Sorry I don't know the name of it. I can dial mine up to 10. Being the strongest force that fires the lancet.

I use mine at 1 though! Wee delicate fingers

Could be a faulty lancing device, try ringing the manufacturer and ask for a replacement.
