last chance for you to make a difference to diabetes care in the UK!!

Done!! And also sent hard copy to the Chair and to my MP...
I also sent attachments of my "evidence" to get a CGM... Which is currently going to my CCG..

Sent to my MP by email and hard copy.. Just standard acknowledgement by email..

Don't forget everyone it does ask for your full name and contact details to be submitted.. If not it will not be accepted...

If you ask for it to be anonymised prior to use/publication when you submit it, they will anonymise it.

I thought it just asked for your 'location'. It does, of course, know your email address.

Location is what I meant.. Couldn't think of the word!!

I put my email address in the text. They ask for the submission in Word format so if it gets printed out or forwarded or whatever the email address is still there for everyone to see.

Almost done! I will reread it later this morning and then submit it.

Thanks @desidiabulum for the tag on your other thread. I confess I had read it before and wasn't really motivated to do this until you tagged me and gave me the little push I needed. :)

Not done yet - this week turned out uncharacteristically rubbish, but now I'm feeling on top of things again I'm going to spend my afternoon writing up my notes and making my submission!

Thank you for the continued reminders - it's now or never!

:)

Well I tried and tried and the email just wouldn't send, it did eventually send but I'm not convinced it will even reach its destination. :( lol it took me forever to compile too.

Well done everyone and thank you for taking the time and trouble to do this. I do think it's worth giving these things a shot -- you never know. More direct and focused than a petition. If any good comes of it then all diabetics will owe you heartfelt thanks.

Hey everybody!!!

I got a letter from the House of Commons today!!

They read my details and evidence and they are actually writing to the head of my CCG for his feedback as to why they are not funding CGM's for T1s that need them......

Got to shout about this....RESULT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will either get blacklisted as a trouble maker now or I will be listened to... I reckon odds are 80/20 at the moment that I'm a trouble maker!!!

Hope everybody gets a response similar if they mentioned CGM's etc..

Just so very grateful to @desidabulum for letting us know about this... Glad that other persons also took the opportunity to voice their opinions..

As the APPG for diabetes is a committee then I personally think that despite the deadline of 31.07.2016 for this that diabetic's experiencing problems with Healthcare should write to the Chair.. Even after this date.

Don't despair Zand -- it might have done. Might still be worth re-sending if you're not sure. Thanks for taking the trouble
