Latest Dn Visit

I had my 6 monthly DN appointment today.

My blood pressure is down to 125/75
I have lost 3.5kg

and.....

my HbA1c is down to 44!!!!

and we had a good and productive chat about carbs :)

I have posted my cholesterol breakdown elsewhere for advice on interpreting the result.

Next HBA1C target will be the 30s hopefully.
 
my brother has just messaged me elsewhere to say his HbA1c is now 78. But he acknowledges what I have managed to achieve, but wont take it on board or come on here for support : (
 
Very well done! Keep up the good work and keep at that brother of yours, fingers crossed he comes around soon.

Congrats to you. A result like that is never easy so very pleased for you.

Well done superstar. I'm not gonna say it was down to some fasting but what do you think?
 
Well done @lucylocket61 you're doing really well all in a downwards direction congratulations let’s hope your brother eventually gets persuaded or influenced to improve his health too. Time for celebrations for you though.

Don't forget to like (or not like) your brother for who he is. Not managing diabetes makes for likely bad health, but it doesn't change a thing about who we are and what we are worth as a person. Don't let diabetes management come between you!

Wonderful news @lucylocket61!! That indicates just how hard you have worked to achieve these results. So very happy for you!! Your brother cannot but take note of what you have accomplish and will continue to achieve, so hopefully some of it will eventually rub off and he will give it a go as well:) Congrats/L
