Low bs

Do you mean a typical day, a good day or what is the lowest BG that any of us have experienced?
If you could explain why you are asking this question, we may be able to assist.

Sorry I did not explain properally. I meant in a typical day. I ask this question because some days I would have a few 3.2 r 2.7 and I would have eat nothing more r less than usual. I mentioned this to my Dr at diabetic clinic but he was not to concerned and said 3 are ok. And I don't need to change anything.

i experience non severe hypos in the region of 2.7 - 3.7 any lower than 2.5 and things start to get uncomfortable.

If I see readings lower than 3.8, I am concerned.
This does not mean they are rare - if I am exercising, they are more common than I think they should be.
For me the important thing is to work out why they are happening and try to manage my diabetes differently next time.

You say you eat nothing more or less on the days of your hypos. Do you do anything different such as eating something different (the fat in some foods delays the absorption of the carbs which could lead to hypos) or exercise or less stress or ...?

Thanks for your reply. I never thought of checking fats in food r the exercising.

I’ll pop a dextrose tab if I’m in the low 4s, that’ll stop it from falling any further, on the whole. I rarely see below 3.5 - that would be a two tab fix for me. One 3g tab raises me aroumd 0.6. I try and run things between 4 and 7mmol wherever possible.

I don't like to be below 4, and will often correct in the 4's and 5's (and even 6's). The lowest I have ever been is 2.6, which I have achieved on multiple occasions.

2.6! In the middle of the night. But rarely below a 3.9 these days. 1 jelly baby will sort that out!

I start losing hypo awareness if I run that low so I work quite hard to avoid it. Having said that, I do get some high 3s but I pop a glucotab if I start to go that low. My diabetic specialist is more concerned with lows than highs.... I get through about 8 blood testing strips a day, so I'd qualify for libre if I lived in the UK, and if it worked for me (which it doesn't, sigh).

The lowest I have ever recorded was 1.2, but I don't know how accurate a metre is at that low

That's REALLY low, if you tested it yourself..
I had a value of 1.4 mmol/l (twice), but felt too OK to believe the meter. Tested again, same result, and a fast sprint to the fridge after that...

I've found that I can get a false sense after exercising, often got back from the gym and found it to be 2.5 but felt completely fine. Then after seeing the level my legs start to tremble :(. Strange...

I woke to a Lo this morning, which I believe is under 1.3. Didn't have a clue where I was or what I was doing. Been up and down all morning since.....

Under 4 is hypo for me. In a typical day I would not expect to fall below 5 but....don't want to jinx myself and try talking about typical days!
