Low Carb Breckenridge 2018 Videos

Wow that's a quick one.. hope the others come along soon too.. there were one or two crackers there.

Low Carb Downunder have started posting videos from this year's conference. First up is Ivor Cummins:

I posted this not long after you did so I will delete mine but I found the presentation fascinating. Note to Ivor on Irish jokes, don't give up the day job.

Nina Teicholz - "Red Meat and Health":

The first graph screams common sense... or the lack of it.
I remember one of the boffins saying that those whose remit is to publish articles/research/data findings now feel that 50% of said data is just plain rubbish science. Now I understand why.
Funniest part was the correlation between divorce and margarine, scariest was the 'science' recommending vegetable oils. This last actually made me shiver.
Thanks for posting.

Short video recorded by vloggers Keto Connect at the Breckenridge conference, posing the question to various presenters: "What did you believe a year ago that you no longer believe?":

One of my favourite talks from the Conference has been posted.

Dr. Benjamin Bikman - 'Insulin vs. Glucagon: The relevance of dietary protein'

This is fascinating thank you for posting I love watching lectures and learning more about how the body works.

@Goonergal some interesting stuff in this lecture if you haven’t already seen it about the role of protein and also about differences on insulin re fasting v lCHF

Dr. Georgia Ede - 'Our Descent into Madness: Modern Diets and the Global Mental Health Crisis':

Just listened to this one and found it very relevant to another thread. Who knew nutrtional psychiatry was a thing?!

Quite an enlightening talk by Dr. Ede. Sometimes even the obvious has to be pointed out. Thanks for the postings Indy.

Posted on Youtube by Diet Doctor - session with audience members discussing their stories. ISTR that @CherryAA makes an appearance. It's been a while since I watched it on streaming:
