I buy in my local health store at £2.50 for 250g. you may check online on amazon or ebay for cheaper options. I don't think they much differ in qualitySorry for butting in but can I just ask where is the best place to buy the Xylitol from? I don't want to pay a fortune but don't want a rubbish product either. Thanks

Yes it's xylitol. I didn't much like it anyway, and mixed it with Candarel. But I don't have a dog so it wouldn't matter to me.Is it xylitol that is toxic for dogs? I'd be too scared to have it in the house.

There was a warning on the packet that it is toxic for dogs, nothing about cats. What about cats? Never knew it had that effect on dogs,
You can also buy it in Sainsburys. It is called Total Sweet, and costs £2.50 for a 225g packet.Sorry for butting in but can I just ask where is the best place to buy the Xylitol from? I don't want to pay a fortune but don't want a rubbish product either. Thanks
There are some web pages with information about which species are sensitive to it, and cats apparently are fine. We had a thread with some of these links recently. What about cats? Never knew it had that effect on dogs,
Sprouts are from the godsRe: Low Carb Recipes.
But would it make my kids eat sprouts, though ,instead of throwing them under the telly!!
Tesco sell coconut oil in a spray bottle. You will find it with the regular oils. They do a chilli and a garlic oil spray as well.I have finally tracked down the coconut oil - had to order it as I couldnt find it anywhere. I was also having trouble as apparently you can use it for for more than cooking - hair conditioner, and according to one reviwer on amazon, massage! lol I think I shall stick to trying these chocolate coconut squares. They sound delicious. Thank you. I am also trying to track down golden flaxseed to make the chocolate tray bake. Do you have to order it? I am not very good at working out the carbs on my recipes but when I have got that sussed I will post a couple of my favourites on here ......
