Oh dear, I think I'm turning into ny mother! Watching Jools Holland new series and I keep thinking is "who's that then" "that was a load of old rubbish". Only ones on today that I know of are the O Jays

The song, which I like, includes the word "God" a couple of times, JACKTHELAD.
God, and all references to Him............ sadly, rather unpopular nowadays.

I remember seeing a programme on the top 100 one hit wonders and this was (possibly No.1) Norm said he'd gone to a gig and all they wanted to hear was Spirit in the Sky and he ended up playing it for an hour and then had to play it for the encore, so it was a real millstone round his neck poor bloke.
