That's the whole of the new album far as I can tell ... handy till you can buy it and buy it you should.
80 years old and still creating those deep beautiful words.

Got my New Leonard Coshen cd this morning (Popular Problems) and it's brilliant. Well worth all the 5 * reviews it's been getting. Hope he geta a late birthday present and it's in the cd charts next week.

You've been busy Jack! Been playing the Old Ideas ones, don't know them all...

Its the words, its the words! He's so clever at expressing things we feel but most of us wouldn't have a clue how to say them in the way he can..

Chris enjoy your cd, no idea when mine'll turn up they didn't say...

Amen and Lullaby are blowing me away.
Amen sounds like a New Orleans funeral march ... the emotion in the whole sound of it almost brings me to tears.
Incredible stuff.
There's only one Leonard Cohen.

After the amazing Leonard Cohen posts, I reckon this might be assigned to the trash can. :playful:

Anyway, I've been reading the amazing revues Leonard received in the Nationals, so it's
good to hear him for the first time.
I'd only became aware of him just before summer, for me though, his early years of singing
come across easier on the ear.........could be, perhaps I just don't "get" the emphasis on his particular
husky tone.
