There is a major project aimed at discovering more about many aspects of hypoglycaemia about to start in the UK. It’s part of a huge international project – Hypo Resolve. In the UK diabetic participants will spend 10 weeks wearing two Libre sensors, a FitBit watch and recording answers to a questionnaire on their mobile phone three times daily, syncing the data from the FitBit with the phone and uploading all the data.
Hopefully the data collected will inform clinicians as to the impact and future treatment of hypos.

Yes, you've got to think that is a missed opportunity there.

If it wasn't for it being a trial to help with meds, then it is not beneficial for RH ers.
But something that could help ease symptoms of hypos, would be beneficial.

The trial I took part, had a note at the bottom of the page that more research needed doing but because of the rarity, it would not be possible. According to my specialist, there were only around 30 in the north of England. Possibly about fifty in the south.
But as always, not many doctors or specialists who are aware of the diagnostic tests necessary.

Keep safe.
