The liver is a very ‘helpful’ organ and if it gets worried about all manner of things, including where the next meal is coming from, it can push out glucose to help things along. Shows apart from anything else that what you ate suits you!
I may be over thinking but my blood sugar is going much lower than my fasting blood glucose level after a meal. I was 7.2 mmol/L at 8:24 before opening my fast and then was 4.2mmol/L at 11:11 I know slightly later than two hours after my first bite of the meal but I got distracted with watching some television with the family.
I think I am getting paranoid hehe
