Do you mean Karl Douglas? There was also Tight FitI do mean that one, but the guy that sang it was never heard from again
Forever Autumn by Justin Hayward bring back some great 70's memories, likewise with Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks.
God forbid Zand After that effort, that'll do
Got you active did it not?
Your contribs / suggestions were SPOT on !!
If someone said a Slade hit, US members would NOT have a clue
You can't call Justin Hayward a one hit wonder!!! I fell in love with him at aged 13 when Forever Autumn came out and then badgered my Mum every Xmas and birthday for albums by the moody blues.
Did he ever have another big hit in the charts on his own, remember him well with the Moody Blues.
Ha! Gotcha! (ironic Falklands reference ) Robert Wyatt also had a hit with "Shipbuilding " in the 80's, though I always preferred the original version by Elvis Costello, who wrote it. As a 60's/70's prog-rock nerd I still live in hope of something by RW's first band, Soft Machine, making it into the charts
PS: four words to expunge Clive Dunn from your head: "Saint Winifred's School Choir" :***:
