Most of those ingredients would be absent from Aldi too!

Omg!!!
We've just each had haddock, 4 waitrose pimento stuffed olives with 1/4 avocado, lettuce, rocket, red onion, cherry tomatos, cucumber drizzled with olive oil.
Got to say it was the best salad ever.. It was absolutely fabulous. Had to cut olives in to halves.. Had one whole by itself whilst preparing dinner and it was an acquired taste.....but the salad was fantastic and we can both still taste the fabulous nutty, sweet, bitter taste. To die for. Can't wait till the same tomorrow. Fabulous.....can't have olives or avocado by themselves yet... Also got pimento olives with machengo to try as well.
Thank you @azure for the advice on avocado and the olives...absolute best salad ever...
Holland & Barrrett have a offer on at the moment where you buy one product and get another half price, they sell linseeds.
If my maths is right the H&B offer still works out more expensive than Aldi's Milled Linseed.
@donnellysdogs, I had exactly the same thing happen to me when I first low carbed, my trigs still good but not as good as before and my ldl levels higher.
Not got time to read whole thread but wanted to say I was similarly worried, so what I did was to keep all my fats healthy, fish, avocadoes, nuts, olive oil etc., too nervous to try coconut oil! I also take sterols in tablet form from boots to avoid the carbs in the sterol drinks.
My fats went down from too high to normal, still not as good as before I low carbed but good.
Trouble is my diet before I became prediabetic was the low fat high fibre diet for years so my lipids were excellent then, also I had a lifetime of dieting to keep my weight stable.. The problem I have now is eating enough to maintain my weight. Nuts are my friend!!
I cringed at the video playing in our surgery today rattling on about the dangers of fats ..... sigh.
