oooppss just ate 6 cream eggs

Yes may be a bit of fun, but, I then wonder is that why all the average hba1c are not being met.
wouldn't normally comment as
Whilst I do carb count, there is no way that I could bolus confidantly for that quantity of any fat/sugar combo, maybe give it a go if I really wanted one but SIX in one go. As someone said earlier not a good idea if not diabetic. And does send the message that type 1s can eat what they want and inject without consequence or risk. Not the case.

I have been bolusing confidently for creme eggs since they were back on the shelf. I have maybe 1 a week. Practise makes perfect

Am a t2 and the amount wouldn't worry me for sugar... l would as they say be praying to the porcelain god by the start of the 2nd one

I don't like Creme Eggs. Does that make me odd?

Strangely I used to love them but now find them far too sweet and sickly but I suppose my taste buds have changed. Maybe its the same as years ago when I used to have 3 sugars in tea and coffee then one night I was working a night shift and we had ran out of sugar and milk so I drank black coffee and have never used sugar since, again if I mistakenly taste a tea or coffee with sugar it tastes disgusting to me now.

Can taste change or is it just a perception thing based on current eating and drinking habits?

I wonder.....

just had 6 cream eggs and enjoyed every bite and i am a T1

The OP has only made 4 posts on the forum and if you read them it would appear that he has a cavalier approach to his diabetes.

As for cream eggs, they are too sweet for my palate. I would rather have some Lindt dark chocolate.

I can still remember Bar 6, had to be the worst chocolate bar ever. When I was boy our local shop to have a Beachnut, Wrigleys and Cadbury's chocolate vending machine on the wall, happy day.........
OMG, thanks for the memory, we had those where I lived, on a very rare occasion you could get a ( used to be Galaxy) the bar of choc, free as your money would come back out, had forgotten all about those machines, great on a Sunday when all the shops closed on Sundays, unlike today

No doubt these same people wouldn't say anything were to want to eat some unsweetened starchy foods. Even when a portion of one of these contained several times the glucose of any "dessert".

Yep, the same people will not bat an eyelid when I order a risotto for a starter, a pasta course, and have a huge serving of spuds with my main. But God help me if I order an almond slice with clotted cream. :-/

I wonder whether this was intended just to get a reaction ? Bit like posting on AA forum that you've just drunk a bottle of Scotch ! Odd
Couldn't word it better myself

I can almost feel the IV lines going in for DKA treatment just looking at those :-/

The pots are actually quite small. The carbs are 23g so very similar to a creme egg (I think they're around 22-26 unfortunately I don't have one to hand to check!)

Creme eggs are 28.9g I believe. Not that I've saved that or anything....

Aero desserts are only 12.8g and tasty. Quite enjoy them as a sneaky treat sometimes
