I couldn't boil an egg without one either. I'm hopelessly impatient.I beat you to it @lovinglife .
Here it is @Pipp , it's about the same size as an egg and it changes colour from the outside when it gets hot. So you simply throw it in the pot with your eggs and you can see how far they are done.

I make low carb/keto cheesecake, never made the Japanese one though as it’s too involved, couldn’t be bothered lolWhat different lives we lead.
What different tastes we have.
And how do you lot getaway with all those treats?
This is why a treatment plan for diabetes cannot succeed if it is one size fits all!
I dream of cheesecake!
Nah!Mocha brownie cheesecake?
But you got one of your own a couple of years ago, with only stuff you could eat, and a carb count included for what little carbs were there!and while it's always great fun unpacking it, there's rarely anything in there I can partake in. It's all carbs and cow-milk-based. Oh, to have one of my own!
I did! But that was from a very, very dear friend, not an employer. (So I thought I wasn't allowed to count that one). But you got one of your own a couple of years ago, with only stuff you could eat, and a carb count included for what little carbs were there!
Just to make sure I have it right, is a hamper a festive gift of various items in a box, often gifted by an employer?
In my neck of the woods, tenants give Christmas hampers too, as a token of their appreciation. Time to drop a hint to your neighbours in the trailer, perhaps? That’s correct @Antje77
Oooh, there's a possibility, not a thing in the Netherlands! In my neck of the woods, tenants give Christmas hampers too, as a token of their appreciation. Time to drop a hint to your neighbours in the trailer, perhaps?
But I would maybe one day have the blackcurrant cheesecake, that was presented to my table when in Greece.Nah!
Doesn't have to be from an employer. I often do them for friends/family. And these ones are fantasy so anything goes (within forum rules of course!)not an employer
That's why I thought we could do low carb ones, so we don't miss out, even if it is pretendMy husband gets a "Kerstpakket" every year, what I suppose you'd call a hamper, and while it's always great fun unpacking it, there's rarely anything in there I can partake in. It's all carbs and cow-milk-based. Oh, to have one of my own
Although local, not heard of that one, so thanks for putting it on my radar. A trip to Sunnyfields is on the cards methinks.A New Forest cheese called Stoney Cross - a whole one. None of this prissying about with slices!
