I do not have diabetes
I have been having dry throat suddenly since last night. Even though I drink alot of water daily it felt like the throat is dry. But today, the dry throat is still there but there is also dry mouth. Is it a symptom of diabetes? How do i monitor the symptoms to gauge if i really have diabetes?

Im worried that i have diabetes. How long will I have to monitor the dry throat and mouth symptom?

I have a little bit or sore throat for the previous 2 days before getting the dry throat? Could they be linked?

A sore throat for a few days could just be the start of a cold, a dry throat could be the result of many different things, as @Resurgam said the only way to find if it is diabetes is to go get tested.
I've had a dry throat due to a cold, sleeping with my mouth wide open, a throat infection, so it could be anything.

I tested for my glucose level after fasting for 10hours(without water and food), 2hours after waking up and 8 hours of sleep and the glucose level in my blood is 5.6mmol/l. After eating a candy and tested 1hour later, the glucose level in my blood is 6.0mmol/l. is this considered prediabetes?

It comes in my remit for “doesn't have diabetes.”

So i should test my blood glucose level 2 hours after i eat a proper meal to gauge am I right?

My glucose level was 9.3 two hours after eating claypot rice. Does it mean I have prediabetes or diabetes?

Hello, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunatly we cannot diagnose on the forum.

Diabetes, (any sort.) should not be souly diagnosed usisng a few random tests on a home BG meter. (Though it can establish trends once you know what you are dealing with regarding proffessional tests.)

Please make contact with a health care specialist.

Good luck.
