I was gonna hit the like button as the tree looks pretty but mines is NOT going up till thec12th, bit superstitious and old fashioned lol

I remember that as a child we always had a real one,only lasted 2 days we had a lovely big twig with decorations on sitting proudly in the corner.

Didn't realise how dangerous they were for dogs,I remember when ours had seed caught,it was really inflamed had to get the vet it sort it for him.

That is interesting I have never heard of anyone who is allergic to pine trees.

Lots n lots of pics n likes coming very shortly. I'm dog tired, hard day, MAKING dinner like all sensible diabetics do...have not bought a ready meal in yonks, ta for asking.

Allergic to lots of things, but touching the tree causes a rash, and breathing the scent of the pine makes me wheeze.

I beg to differ Snowy12. I have always had a big one, found it more versatile. Depending where I stick it I might have to bend the end over a little and sometimes squash the girth in a bit to get it in, but in the end people have commented on how it stands proud and majestic and how lovely the balls are that hang from it. I love showing it off and get immense pleasure allowing others to throw tinsel all over it. Almosts seems a shame really to just get it out for a few days, but once up it gives me a lot of pleasure. Think I've over done it with the lights this year..........................

Oh now that is what I call big I love how it bends to the side.The only problem I have is that it does not seem to have a lot of width to it poor you also you could straighten up your star looks like it is going to fall.Oh well there's always next year looks like it's to you late for you,maybe choose a younger one next time.

Beggars can't be choosers as they say. I have to take whatever I can get from the tip but I somehow think this one was from last year. The good thing is, the lights came with it, and all for free. I'm spending some of today ironing wrapping paper that got thrown away so I can wrap the presents up that I'm going to give myself, oh and yours, I hope you like it.:D

Haha youve just reminded me of another reason I now choose an artificial tree.



My cat used the last real one as a litter tray :( A Christmas present under the tree that no one wanted!!
 
Years ago I looked after a lovely ( but cheeky) male Labrador . One day I found my 6 ft artificial tree lying on the floor, because he decided he would try to get to the chocolate decorations at the top of the tree. When asked 'has Garth been good today' ?, well.............. the ladies face was a picture and she decided she wouldn't tell hubby lol o_O :angelic:
