I might get time soon to set it up and to start using it. Now I have a new pc too. :)

MSK chap has asked me to start walking up an incline without my crutch, little by little.
Gulp!
I hope I don't fall. Might wait til after bariatric op as last thing I need is 2 hospital visits.
I'm still very wobbly. I'm more confident in hospital grounds. So he sees me more confident. Also evening appointments have loosen everything up by then.
Although next appointment is during day. I hope I don't disappoint him. He is supportive; just in a different way.

Mega day of walking yesterday. Started out along the canals in Birmingham. Went just past Kings Norton, toyed with the idea of carrying on to Redditch, thought better of it so headed back to KN and caught train to New Street and indulged in some retail therapy before exploring street art in Digbeth. Total 37,527 steps of which 27,657 were aerobic.

I'm still wondering if i still have this carb flu thingy. I am always tired:facepalm:. Still one must not complain as it could be worse. Sorry @ickihun you have so much on your plate girl and having young children must be so hard even though they are your pride and joy. Hope all goes well for you on your op.:)

Woke very very swollen. Just don't know what it's off.
Cottage cheese is normally no problem. I've tried a new ham in a sealed packet. Maybe too much salt?
Anyway painkillers took and out but very very tired ..... and slow.

How about walking upstairs, hand posed just above the hand rail ready to grab? Even going very slowly with lots of pauses, stairs are great exercise and you could be developing your balance as well as your glutes and quads.

As you are doing, I always drag my feet and postpone for ages when I have to get started with a new piece of tech. And when I have finally taken the plunge, I kick myself to find it wasn't so hard after all. Congratulations on the new Fitbit. I find mine wonderfully entertaining and motivating.

I'm very wobbly. I think I'm fearing a fall so much its like vertigo. Head spinning and holding breath.
Stairs are very difficult even with my aid. I live in a bungalow thankfully.
I must try something on a relaxed day. Hopefully a one soon.
I'd like to know for myself how things will be without crutch. I'm fascinated, in fact as I've used crutch for about 2yrs now.

Need to get back on the horse metaphorically. Haven’t posted for a month as I haven’t done much but that has got to change-

Started with 15 mins on exercise bike before breakfast.
Walked a basic 10k steps.
1.5 hrs yoga class

How about recruiting someone to be by your side, arm ready to be grabbed and ready to grab YOU if you seem to be tottering too much. Worst case scenario, there to pick you up, but that shouldn't be necessary.

Catching up a little.

Two more gentle days after Sunday’s exertion - and missed Tuesday swimming due to work event. Monday 14,715 steps, yesterday 9,531 steps. Both days just getting from A to B.

Editing to add Monday Pilates session.

Forgot yesterday’s post:
12k steps plus 15 mins Hiit on static bike.

Today haven’t been able to walk as Ive been out at a funeral most of the day. Did 15 mins Hiit on the exercise bike this morning.
A measly 5k steps- terrible!
20 mins exercise bike this evening and just done a mash up of @Johnpol’s core exercises, yoga stretches and a 10 min mini workout from a MyFitnessPal blog.

Don’t remember when I stopped doing the core exercises but definitely need to restart on a regular basis.

Still not putting in anything like useful exercise but trying to comfort myself with the notion that ticking over while seeing off the mystery virus is the sensible way to go. Average around 10k steps Mon and Tues with swimming lesson Tues. 17.6K steps yesterday. Sleep hrs higher than for a month so maybe softly softly is the way to go for now.

Yes it is @ianpspurs it is i think. I had a good mornings walk with my dog and since it's getting lighter at night as well, myself and hubby and doggy took another stroll around the bloke. Hours worth i wold say. Could do better and when it's a little warmer i will.

Basic 10k steps on pedometer and 45 mins lawn mowing - still just ticking over. Would have added more steps but confined to barracks this afternoon. Hopefully next week should be able to return to some more cardio and use the rowing machine.

14k steps today and 10-15 mins core exercise type things.
Could be better, but has been a lot worse so it’ll do.

Have missed posting the past couple of days. Like @ianpspurs just ticking over. Weekend will need to see increased action and return to swimming pool. Yesterday a measly 9,670 steps, Weds 11,550.

@Goonergal Maybe we are both getting a little wiser about all this and recognising what our body needs more than before? Of course, I could just be getting lazy:)
