I have a lie-in on days I'm not exercising first thing. And there's an extra cuppa on the cards as well. Both of those things feel extra special because I feel I've earned them!

BTW Ruth can I just take this opportunity to thank you for this thread you started. I find it really encouraging and motivating!

In fact, in those months I did do a fair bit that I didn't log, including running and weights, but then I tailed off because i had a busy work period, and I live in Turkey and it was just so darn hot. But my control started to get worse so I'm back again!More housework today. I spent an hour cleaning steps, the outside steps, which were encrusted with figs that had dropped off the neighbour's tree since last week. So that involved scraping, sweeping, then (I'm not exaggerating) about fifteen buckets of water filled, lifted out of the bath, carried to the steps, tipped, mopped, etc. So, that was the equivalent of a good weights session.
I also did the accidental spike but I actually fell by an incredible 8mmol in the hour I was working and the following hour sitting down recovering. So I'm not so bothered by the fact I spiked.

Went to the gym this morning, did a stint on the cycle and one on the treadmill. Tried some machines for top body workout - but sort of gave up - but tonight its Aquacise .... I do admit to having been so tired I had a nap this afternoon.
I am sure I will feel better on my return later this evening
Note to self: Win lottery and buy a house with large swimming pool and sports room (hire trainer)
