Self indulgent bragging post

The title says it all.
Diagnised 1st Feb with HbA1c of 86
Went lo carb instantly based on advice from here.

4th April had HbA1c of 46 on 1000mg of metformin 2 x a day.

5th July HbA1c of 40 so stopped the metformin with Dr's agreement.

Today got another blood test result...
With 4.5 stone weight loss no metformin for 3 months HbA1c of 36.

Feeling great and want to thank this forum for the tips advice and encouragement.

I like the simple chart from my NHS pathology dept.
I don't really want to find out what the other zones say....
I they had ticked the right to get me copies of my results from the start I may have found out!
