Hmm interesting.. have to get back to the pool and do some serious lengths... don't drink unfortunately so can't do the vodka cure..!

Haha. It's not the vodka and good for you. It's the absense of carbs and depleting glycogen. Again, generally takes me about three days.

Hope this theory pans out for you and bs comes back down.

Well I had a go at glucose tolerance test never again
Here are the results
Started at 10.53 reading 5.4
15 =8.5
30=11.4
45=12.9
1hr=14
1hr15=11.8
1hr30=11
1hr45=10.4
2hr=8.4
2hr15=5.4
2hr30=3.9
2hr45=3.2 had something to eat at this point
Not great
Never felt any different even at 14 bearing in mind I have not been over 8 I last year but felt I needed to eat just after test when getting low readings
