More likely not I think. I was away on holiday a few months back and tempted by a very small cake, which I regretted about half an hour later. Had to get back on the train an go back to the hotel. Felt quite strange. A lesson learned. After avoiding any kind of sweet things for so long it also made me feel a little sick.

8.2 after 1 3/4 hours.. slight headache.. just had a cup of tea too.. to calm myself down..

4.3 now.. 2 1/2 hours..
Will carry on testing but have to go and meet the electrician at our house to plan sockets etc for new extension.. so will be off radar for an hour or so...

Looks like a massive second phase insulin response, so your pancreas seems to be reacting powerfully to the glucose invasion.
