In simple terms you want to see your trigs reduced, your LDL reduced and your HDL(good cholesterol) increase.

Done lchf for the last two years and normalised all my stats bgs cholesterol and blood pressure. Like others say high fat doesn't mean your meals are oozing lard just that you are replacing starch with an increase in things like eggs and cheese ie natural unprocessed fats. You're also likely to up your protein by eating more meat and fish etc and also you'll likely replace starchy foods with far less bg raising carbs with high fibre carbs like green vegetables.

Makes perfect sense really I need to find out what my cholesterol number is. But avoiding docs at mo as they want me to take all kinds of pills and I want to make myself well naturally

we have a vested interest in db, they have to know alot about alot, you cant expect them to know as much as us, but some basic non lethal instructions would be nice

You can buy a cholesterol test kit I think I saw it on the website that sells the codefree meter But if not Mr Google will be able to find it
