Hello everyone,

I am 24 years old (M) and i have reactive hypoglycemia. I was diagnosed with RH 6 months ago.
I have some questions:
  1. My Hba1c is 4.7, is it low?

  2. Can RH be a sign of type 1 diabetes?

  3. My fasting c-peptide level is 1.1 ng/ml. Have you ever measured it? Is it low ?

  4. My (75 g) OGTT glucose levels:
    Fasting: 88,
    1.Hour: 183,
    2.Hour: 126,
    3.Hour: 70
    How are these values?

Best wishes.

Hi and welcome to our forum @RhypeR !

The answers

1 No 4.7 is normal range but that is expected with RH!

2. No! T2 is more likely if not controlled by diet.

3. Yes, then no!

4. Typical RH result!

T1 is an autoimmune condition, T2 and RH are not!

Keep asking.
