Sporty Forty.e t

.....had a half hour walk today at lunch as so hot, but just going for another along the front before it gets dark, will be dodging the seagulls and dogs in a few minutes, must keep on track or I won't hit forty....

Yes take it easy Pipp, you'll only prolong whatever it is otherwise... been round to my son's and have just been trying to persuade him not to go back to work tomorrow as he's been off sick the last two days and he hadn't taken a day off in over ten years...told him he should stay home tomorrow but he's a workaholic and what son listens to their mum whatever age...

Must be nice to walk by the sea, fresh air!

just to let you all know we are off on our hols today...of to Leyburn again...so I haven't disappeared:) not sure how much internet access I will have so could be a while before I speak to you all again!

Pipp hope you feel better soon

Pipp this is OT (you don't accept PMs) but I just want to mention your post to Alexander - well done you, made me cry a bit, I didn't know what to say to him.

Sorry @sanguine I went all hermit a couple of weeks ago as someone spooked me. I have changed my profile back to be more accepting of the wider world now.

Was very concerned about the lad. Still am a bit. Hope all the replies have helped him.

Thanks @aqualung
I just need to rest up for a few days. Wretched earache and allergies.
Enjoy your hols.

I do live on the coast, but the Mersey is not exactly suitable for a daily swim.

5minutes walk to pick up my car.
30 minutes on my numb bum machine and 10 minutes on my cross trainer.
Glad everyone feeling a bit better. Its raining again.

......raining a bit here too, we're all in a for a weekend of it....55 minute walk, had lunch at my desk afterwards , free barbecue food provided as most of us have been doing overtime this week :hungry:

@sanguine I know at last what planking is, I did wonder when you've spoken of it...someone was talking about it at work so I asked, sounds like ultra hard work to me but obviously suits you, think I'll have to stick to what I do...

...enjoy your holiday aqualung..

Well surprised myself today.
Went for a walk this morning , up the hill into the country proper. Got up there then RAN yes RAN down , ran most of the way anyway, not where people could see my boobs blacking my eyes lol. Its the first time Ive ran in years. Feel soooo proud of myself.
Thankyou all for coming on this journey with me. I feel like you all support me soo much and I would have probably given up ages ago if it wasn't for you all.
Xxxx

Well done that woman! Yay!

Well done you.

Only managed 20 minutes walking yesterday as in car most of day the tied up with organising stuff.
Same again today I think though I'll be standing most of the night and moving furniture etc later so that will have to do me.

Thanks cold ethyl, can't believe I did it lol
Sometimes life and work get in our way lol

Oh, well done you @Jamrox. Even if you did startle the poor sheep!

I bet you want to do it even more now.

Hi. Tuesday to Friday I did at least 20,000 steps a day because we were away so I didn't get distracted by computer or ironing.

Well done!
Err, dare I suggest computer and iron rationing?

I am still incapacitated, by allergies and meds.
Not happy, but at least blood glucose is still stable. Exercise is out of the question right now. Sleep is about an energetic as I do.

Thanks Pipp . I think ill need to get running shoes. I actually surprised myself how far I ran and didn't find it too hard. Admittedly it was down hill but I don't care.
Hope you feel better soon
@zand that's a lot of walking
