Sporty Forty.e t

Thanks Pipp . I think ill need to get running shoes. I actually surprised myself how far I ran and didn't find it too hard. Admittedly it was down hill but I don't care.
Hope you feel better soon
@zand that's a lot of walking

Yes @Jamrox. Properly fitted shoes vital for running so you don't injure yourself. Mr Pipp a veteran runner insists that shoes the most important bit of kit.

Guess for the girls a decent sport bra important too.
running could be your new sport challenge.

.....thats brilliant @Jamrox you're right to feel proud...:D

....lovely day here, walked into town to see a friend, then along the Leas afterwards, food shop, taxi home as too heavy to carry, then a walk in the grounds of one of our work offices nearby, huge, its like a park with a wooded area.....not sure of the exact time but know I hit more than the forty...

@Pipp have a good rest and don't think about exercise until you're feeling better...

Well surprised myself today.
Went for a walk this morning , up the hill into the country proper. Got up there then RAN yes RAN down , ran most of the way anyway, not where people could see my boobs blacking my eyes lol. Its the first time Ive ran in years. Feel soooo proud of myself.
Thankyou all for coming on this journey with me. I feel like you all support me soo much and I would have probably given up ages ago if it wasn't for you all.
Xxxx
Well done Jamrox! But don't get near those sheep please. Sheep are vicious. I ran for a train on holiday and we actually caught it too!

Im frightened my ankles will go so won't be running much. Oh I need a good sports bra ...bounce bounce lol.
The sheep just looked sad zand , well done you for catching the train:)

An hour or so walking yesterday, and out and about all day today. Another to come tomorrow.

Up early, couldn't sleep . An hour pedaling my numb bum machine in my garage . Was going to go for a walk but its raining
.again !!! Anyway time for shower and breakfast.

Went for a walk but only did a mile because my back is hurting - chiropractor tomorrow.

Hey Mrs Zand think back to the beginning of all this , you wouldn't have done the mile ...success xxx

...perhaps you shouldn't be walking more than you need to till you see the chiropractor zand, take it easy...

...indoor exercises today, weather is horrendous... rain is lashing down, high tide at the moment, am watching the sea as I type...never seen it like this before, pebbles and spray all over the road....they build up the sea defences regularly in the winter but not in the summer...everyone has had to move their cars....

Hmm, yes, guess that is the downside of coastal living. Would still like to be there though.

Not exercised since last Tuesday, as I still feel so ill with allergies and meds. Missing it, but will have to start again gradually. Don't feel like yet though. Achy and doped up, so will sleep a bit more, and try some chair exercises later.

Its raining in Ayrshire but not like that
I think we re getting the windy bit tomorrow.

...a lot brighter here today, still windy....there's a pub to the side of my flat with a balcony, the tables and chairs have been blown all over the place and one of our wheelie bins [a large one] has gone awol, lol....

.....back to lunchtime walking today...

Lucky escape here then. Just had a lot of rain and a bit of gusting wind.

I am chomping at the bit, wanting to get out to the pool. Can't due to allergies, meds and general debility. Arrrgh! All that fitness fading fast.
Have taken 2short, slow walks today. I mean 2 x 5 mins. Have thrown the ball for the dog (i know, pathetic, but involved bending to pick up, and stretching to throw) for 8 mins. Going to do walk round garden for another 10 mins, and finish up with physio exercises and Pilates for 20 mins.

Hoping to get out tomorrow. Not sure if it will be to the swimming pool. I have almost a week worth of exercise sessions to catch up on.

going to have to be a brisk walk round asda today as stuck at Desmond course for 7 hours- my bum was numb.

Walked around Edinburgh watching the street entertainment at the Fringe. Enjoyable day.

....saw a friend at lunchtime today so it wasn't a walking one just a butts on seats one .....made up for it when I got home with some floor exercises, legs, arms and back for a change from the twistboard/skip etc. then a long walk, much cooler today...
